Ok, ok, everybody calm down!Calm down! After a full year of the public demanding us to finally unleash ourfull social potential by joining the hot, new media platform, the GetOutPass isnow taking TikTok BY STORM I tell you. For those of you that haven’t discoveredthe unique variety found on the newer social media, it’s all about doing whatyou want to do. The flexibility on creative influence over there is astounding.

You like dogs? Trust me,there are hundreds of pages dedicated to dog videos. Cute corgis, dog training,dog grooming, dog walking, cute dogs, ugly dogs, big dogs—you name it, it’sthere. You like to watch people make unnecessary yet interesting finds onMarvel and other Disney movies? Don’t you worry, TikTok has many peoplewatching every second of every movie so you can see that Rapunzel and Flynnreally WERE in Frozen. You like makeup? Thousands of dedicated folk are postingtutorials on how to truly make your mascara shine. Does mascara shine or needto shine? I don’t know, I’m not really into makeup, but you get my point. It’sall there, and we’re happy to join it.

What’s pretty fun aboutTikTok is that it does a great job of showing how anything in this world can befun. I just got a dog, and it’s wonderful to watch dog training and groomingvideos. There’s this girl whose only content is to show how she grooms thedifferent dogs that come into her… dog salon?... and I’m blown away by how Ican watch 20 in a row. All she does is show her average day at work and I loveevery second of it. It’s almost too easy to be entertained.

A big thing we prideourselves on at the GetOutPass is how we’re good, wholesome fun for the entirefamily. We understand that life is tough for all ages, and that sometimes theact of “having fun” can almost appear daunting and stressful. When we only haveso much free time in the day, how do we totally capitalize on that precioustime? It’s almost STRESSFUL to have fun! Which is way opposite of what itshould be. So, we’re going to tackle that issue of showing the fun you could behaving outside your house through TikTok and other social media!

Believe it or not, family funis great for many things in life. According to this study, families that spenttime with each other in “family fun” activities had children that had increasedhappiness, developed character, and improved social contact. We believe thatfamilies that spend less time on their phones and more time with each otherlead to great relationships, awesome memories, and improved health. Spendingless time on the phones will give you more opportunities to experience theworld around you with some amazing people.

Now you may be thinking,“Hold on. You’re talking about two different things here: being on social mediaand also NOT being on social media. Pick one!” We want to do both. We’re goingto be emphasizing that you watch and go. Watch to see the fun things you couldbe doing, then go and do it! Social media can be great in that way. It can showyou some fun things to do while you’re sitting at home re-watching The Officefor the 90^th time. When done right, you can watch, get inspired,then go out and have fun!

That will be our goal withTikTok: providing a platform where we can show the exciting things that youcould be doing with yourself, friends or family and start creating memories.Don’t be afraid to get out of your house and try something new on theGetOutPass! We guarantee that you’ll have a blast.
