Spoiler Alert!

This article contains some snippets of our featured movies, so if you don’t want to spoil your fun, here’s the top 10 list:

  • The Dark Knight
  • The Shawshank Redemption
  • Forrest Gump
  • The Godfather
  • The Silence of the Lambs
  • Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope
  • Mad Max: Fury Road
  • Jurassic Park
  • Another Round
  • Zack Snider's Justice League

Now that we get that out of the way, let’s continue!

1. The Dark Knight

Batman, with the help of Lieutenant Jim Gordon and new district attorney Harvey Dent, tries to rid Gotham City of organized crime for good. The three work together at first but soon find themselves prey in a rising criminal mastermind known only as "The Joker."

2. The Shawshank Redemption

Andy Dufresne is sentenced to two consecutive sentences of life imprisonment for killing his wife and her lover, and he is sent to a very tough prison. However, Andy alone knows it wasn't him who committed the crimes. It's while in prison that he encounters brutality, but he learned to adapt, helped the warden, and made friends with Red.

3. Forrest Gump

Forrest Gump is a man who has never thought of himself as disadvantaged. Thanks to his supportive mother, he leads anything but a restricted life and inspires people with childlike optimism no matter what challenge comes along – from becoming a dominating college football star or fighting in Vietnam.

4. The Godfather

The son of the old patriarch returns to his home, eager for a life not controlled by tradition. He soon finds himself forced into an unexpected arms race with those who want nothing more than what he has: control over this powerful Mafia clan and their lucrative business enterprise in New York City's Five Boroughs.

5. The Silence of the Lambs

Clarice Starling is a top student at the FBI's training academy. When Jack Crawford asks her to interview Dr. Hannibal Lecter for his crimes of violence and cannibalism, she agrees in exchange for some knowledge. It would be an opportunity for her not only to gain more knowledge about how monsters think but also maybe catch them before they do something worse!

6. Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope

The forces of good are on the offensive! Luke Skywalker, a Jedi Knight with past mistakes, chases those who have done him and her loved ones harm. But his mission isn't complete until he rescues Princess Leia, which will require some quick thinking since she's currently been taken hostage by Darth Vader himself.

7. Mad Max: Fury Road

With the help of other female prisoners and an unpredictable drifter named Max, a woman rebels against her tyrannical ruler in search of the land that was once her home.

8. Jurassic Park

The protagonist of this story is tasked with protecting two kids after a power failure. When all sorts of trouble at their theme park happened, he knows that something isn't right. The dinosaurs are running loose, and there's no one left in charge to stop them!

9. Another Round

When four middle-aged friends are unable to share their passion with the world, they embark on an audacious experiment. The men each find themselves at a different stage in life and, after some time-consuming research, decide that alcohol may be able to help them unlock greater levels of happiness by giving up everything else for a while. If you can't have any former restrictions, then there should be no bounds either.

10. Zack Snider's Justice League

In the wake of Superman's selfless act, Bruce Wayne has rekindled his faith in humanity. Inspired by this newfound empathy for those around him and with hope restored on Earth again, Batman enlists Diana to join forces against an enemy that is just beginning its assault: one which will bring about catastrophic proportions if it isn't stopped quickly!
