The History

You’ve probably never bothered to look up the history behind your favorite entertainment attraction, but I have! I found myself wondering why I was so obsessed with Fat Cats. Was it all the memories I had made? Perhaps all the delicious food I had consumed there? I just couldn't figure it out. I needed to know why I was so drawn to this place with such a unique name. And so I decided to conduct a little research. I learned that the venue itself is built off of friendships. Two friends, a restaurant owner and a bowling equipment sales executive, wanted to provide a place “where families could enjoy quality food and superior entertainment”. Of course there's more to it than that, but I had found the answer to my questions. I am a firm believer in the fact that friendships can give you more than laughter. And this friendship gave us the gift of “All Out Fun”. 

Allows you to make lasting memories 

The first time I ever visited fat cats was with my entire family in Saratoga Springs. During our family reunion in Utah, we were looking for something fun to do. Opening the doors for the first time, I was astonished at how big it was. Before I knew it, my cousins and I were running around eating good food, laughing harder than we ever had, and making lasting memories. Now when I think about Fat Cats I think about the opportunity it gave my family and I to enjoy a day together. Fat Cats is a family place; it provides you with the equipment to have endless fun!

Saves money 

It’s Saturday afternoon and your kids are restless to get out of the house, but they are unsure of what they want to do. It’s between bowling, the arcade, virtual reality, and getting lunch. You could tell them to choose one and be done, you could take them to a bunch of different places to do all of those things, OR you could take them to Fat Cats and save yourself money and gas. 

The best employees

The last time I attended Fat Cats I went with my brother, and we were determined to play all of the arcade games and take home a prize we had our eye on for a while: a giant stuffed Donkey Kong. You can imagine our disappointment when I had won a jackpot on one of the games but it got stuck and I didn’t receive any of the tickets. One of the employees had seen what had happened and rushed over to help. Not only did I get my jackpot, but he also gave me a few extra tickets! Without the extra tickets my brother and I would not have been able to get the giant Donkey Kong we had been wanting. All thanks to that awesome employee. Thank you, Chris. You know who you are. 

Great food 

With the amount of options the Fat Cats menu gives you, you would think you're at a sit down restaurant. From mac and cheese bites to funnel cake fries, they have it all! For the junk food junkie they have an onion ring tower and ice cream. So good! But what I love about the food options is that they even have healthy choices: a Cobb salad or a chicken sandwich! Nothing better than diversity in a menu. No one in the family needs to eat the same one veggie pizza that only dad likes. And they have chicken tenders for those picky eaters! Food is fun for everyone. 

Fun for everyone 

There is not one soul I know who has been to Fat Cats and left without a smile on their face. Even if you don’t like any of the options previously listed; bowling, arcade, virtual reality, good food--that's not all they offer. Depending on which you go to, they have a movie theatre, billiards, mini golf, and more! There’s tons of fun prizes to win from the arcades, some of the mini golf has this blacklight arena where your white shirts will shine bright like a diamond.
